Arrange and set up material handling equipment and machinery. Ensure measuring instruments are in **good condition and calibrated**. Allocate work to employees during machine breakdowns or idle time. Position: Technician QA In Process Inspection Location: Coimbatore Department: QA In Process Inspection Employee Type: Staff Purpose of the Role Responsible for **in-process, dimensional, and final inspection** of products. Ensure timely stage-wise, final inspection, and **First Article Inspection (FAI)**. Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports. Conduct product and process audits. Ensure adherence to **Quality Management System (QMS)** and customer quality requirements. Handle **non-conformances** and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Inspection & Quality Control Perform **in-process, dimensional, and final inspections** to achieve quality targets. Execute QC activities to reduce **COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality)** and scrap. Ensure highest quality output that meets customer expectations in a cost-effective manner. Carry out critical inspections and ensure job closure by technicians, accurately recorded in **route cards/Oracle system**. Quality Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain **quality plans** complying with drawings, process documents, and customer requirements. Raise alerts for non-conformance/deviations and ensure resolution. Verify implementation of **Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA)**. Analyze quality data to identify trends and participate in **New Product Development (NPD)** to identify quality requirements. Team Coordination & Training Allocate work to technicians and monitor shift-wise progress. Provide **on-the-job training and guidance** to new joiners. Track operator performance, provide feedback, and support skill development. Dimensional & Material Inspection Conduct **dimensional inspections** of composite parts, metallic parts, and tooling as per inspection plans. Prepare, review, and maintain inspection reports for composites, metallic parts, and tooling. Required Skills & Competencies Knowledge of **dimensional inspection techniques** for composites, metallic parts, and tooling. Familiarity with quality standards such as **AS9100, Nadcap**, and customer-specific requirements. Strong **documentation and reporting skills**. Position: Technician Assembly (Air Intake) Location: Coimbatore Department: Assembly Air Intake Employee Type: Staff Purpose of the Role Execute **assembly activities for metallic parts** as per daily production plan. Ensure responsiveness to customer needs and **timely delivery**. Maintain quality standards to achieve **zero-defect output**. Optimize **resource utilization**, including materials, tools, and machinery. **100% adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)** for defect-free component delivery. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Assembly Operations & Quality Execute assembly tasks for **on-time delivery of defect-free products**. Follow assembly processes and **suggest improvements** for quality, delivery, and cost reduction. Maintain **Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)** within acceptable limits. Analyze and resolve customer complaints using **QC story methodology**. Execute daily workloads, adhering to **cycle times**. Collect **BOM parts** and verify against router & MTS for operations. Manufacture **FAI and production parts with 100% quality**. Perform **Bush & Helicoil, pin installation**, and other specialized assembly operations. Training & Supervision Guide and provide **on-the-job training** to fresh technicians to improve skill levels. Track operator performance, provide feedback, and drive **continuous skill development**. Equipment & Tools Management Ensure machines and tools are **functioning correctly** to meet production targets. Follow assembly work instructions using **pneumatic hand tools and cutting tools**. Maintain knowledge of **consumables specifications**, preparation, application, shelf life, and expiry. Check **jigs & fixtures calibration** before starting work. Ensure inspection parameters are adhered to as per MTS, recording in **SIR reports** with calibrated instruments. Process & Systems Compliance Update **ERP** with stage completion after finishing work order operations. Achieve **OLE (Work Order Scanning) above 90%** as planned. Follow **PPE guidelines**, identify **near-miss incidents**, and implement monthly **Kaizen initiatives**. Continuous Improvement & Learning Collaborate with the automation team to identify use cases and implement **process improvement initiatives**. Stay updated on latest technologies and tools in assembly; suggest and implement them where applicable.
