The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Creo, a strong background in mechanical design principles, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes for plastics, sheet metal, and die casting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine 3D models of automotive components such as engines, transmissions, chassis, body panels, and enclosures using Creo. Assemble individual components into larger vehicle modules or systems within the CAD environment. Create and evaluate conceptual designs based on customer requirements and engineering standards. Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost using Creo s advanced design tools such as Behavioral Modeling. Perform FEA and CFD simulations using Creo to validate mechanical performance under stress, thermal, and dynamic conditions. Design complex sheet metal parts and freeform surfaces for bodywork, enclosures, and aerodynamic structures. Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, GD&T, and annotations. Apply robust design methodologies including DFMEA, DFA, and DFM to ensure product quality and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development and lead design reviews. Support the design and development of plastic components, especially for instrument clusters, infotainment systems, and display housings. Technical Skills & Requirements: Expert-level proficiency in Creo and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Deep understanding of plastic component design, sheet metal, and die casting processes. Proven experience in product design and development, including: Design calculations Design of Experiments (DoE) GD&T and stack-up analysis Design validation and optimization Knowledge of LCD/TFT instrument clusters, infotainment systems, and related mechanical packaging. Strong command of design for manufacturing and assembly principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.
