Website Developer (contract) Job in Datawrkz

This role is for a short term project on contract basis. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to gather project requirements and create website specifications Develop responsive and visually engaging websites that adhere to industry best practices and SEO guidelines Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies Integrate and customize Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement Collaborate with web designers to implement responsive design and interactive features Perform regular website maintenance, updates, and backups Assist in the integration of third-party APIs and web services Optimize website speed and performance for an optimal user experience Ensure website security and apply security patches and updates when necessary Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio of past web projects Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla Familiarity with responsive web design principles Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus Knowledge of back-end programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python) is a plus
