Job Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Analyst with a strong background in testing expertise for Talend ETL development projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our data integration and transformation processes. As part of the project team, the QA Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ETL solutions. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Talend ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of ETL workflows and transformations. Identify, report, and track defects and issues through the entire testing lifecycle, working closely with the development team to resolve them. Participate in design reviews and requirement discussions to provide QA input and ensure testability of the ETL solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and cases. Automate test cases using testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data consistency between source and target systems. Perform load testing to validate ETL performance and identify bottlenecks. Document test results, prepare test summary reports, and provide test progress updates to stakeholders. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall testing quality and efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 6+ years of experience as a QA Analyst in Talend ETL development projects with a focus on testing data integration and transformation processes. Strong expertise in designing and executing test cases for ETL workflows, data mapping, and data quality checks. Proficiency in SQL and experience with oracle exadata. Familiarity with Talend Studio and Talend Job design, preferably Talend Data Integration. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for ETL testing. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling principles. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate Talend ETL workflows and data transformations.
