Key Responsibilities

• Execute CNC machining operations to meet the defined tool manufacturing plan on a shift basis.
• Ensure optimal utilization of CNC machines and work to improve machine uptime.
• Perform programming and setup of CNC machines for new part numbers.
• Conduct in-process inspections after each machining step and maintain records.
• Work to reduce rejection and rework rates, aiming for zero defects.
• Train and support operators on CNC operations and process improvements.
• Identify process optimization opportunities to reduce machining costs by 10% annually.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize tool downtime and improve overall productivity.

Qualifications

Education:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience:

3 to 8 years of experience working as a CNC Operator/Technician in a manufacturing or tool room environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in CNC programming (G-Code, M-Code), setup, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with inspection tools and quality documentation.
• Proficiency in SAP for tool tracking and production reporting is preferred.

Language Proficiency:

English, Hindi, Marathi
