About the Role: The Vessel Operator is responsible for coordinating and executing moderately complex freight trade activities, ensuring compliance with maritime law. You will oversee ocean-going vessel voyages, manage data, reporting, and profit/loss results, while closely partnering with internal commercial teams and external counterparts such as ship owners, charterers, and agents. The role places a strong focus on customer service, relationship building, and optimizing voyage results. Key Responsibilities: Freight Contracts Execution: Manage end-to-end freight contracts and apply defined contractual terms to optimize sea voyage profits. Risk & Profit Management: Evaluate risk factors and make reactive changes to optimize profit, including monitoring vessel movements and maximizing fuel efficiency and product quantity. Customer Monitoring: Monitor vessels within a region for specific customer requirements, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Commercial Support: Assist the commercial team with voyage estimates, cargo evaluations, and voyage data analysis. Compliance & Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring proper risk management strategies are in place. Operational Efficiency: Review operational metrics and maintain accurate delivery and freight execution processes. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners, such as ship brokers, masters, and port agents. Problem Solving: Independently address moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team members. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: 4-5 years of post-fixture operations experience. Post-graduate course in Shipping/Maritime. Experience in complex business environments within a multinational organization. Strong knowledge of Hague Visby rules. Proven experience in managing vessel operations and understanding ship and port-specific operations. Experience analyzing legal contracts. Your Mission As a Plant PC&L Supervisor, you will oversee internal logistics operations from the receipt of materials to the shipment of finished goods. Key Responsibilities Internal Logistics & Material Flow Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production lines using internal transport systems (e.g., small trains). Customer Delivery & Outbound Logistics Monitor and manage sequencing operations to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries. Supervise the preparation and loading of finished goods, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Track shipment status, communicate any delivery failures, and contribute to the reduction of Misdeliveries per Million (MPM). Logistics Operations & Systems Implement and maintain logistics fundamentals such as traceability, booking systems, labeling, and container management. Apply and reinforce First In, First Out (FIFO) practices with proper visual and physical control systems. Team & Resource Management Organize and allocate manpower and equipment to meet production and logistics needs. Lead, train, and coach a team of logistics operators to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency within logistics operations. Your Profile Education Graduate in any discipline (logistics, supply chain, or related fields preferred). Experience 5 to 8 years of experience in production or logistics within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. Qualifications: 7+ years of experience working in the AI & Automation field Proven experience in designing and implementing AIOps solutions in large-scale environments; strong expertise as an Automation Engineer with a focus on AIOps, Generative AI, and Conversational AI. Hands-on experience withAmeliaAIOps software and integrations is a must Strong knowledge of AI/ML techniques applied to IT operations. Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef etc). Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with hands-on experience in automation and orchestration. Solid understanding of APIs, web services, and integration technologies (e.g., REST, GraphQL, Kafka). Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Java,Bash, etc). Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic) and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) Strong background in machine learning and deep learning algorithms. - Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, Huggingface for developing AI models.
