About the Role We are seeking a Procurement Associate (Market Linkage) based in Nashik, Maharashtra, to support commodity sourcing operations. This role involves close coordination with agri-input retailers, field aggregators, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of agri-commodity procurement, field-level negotiations, and quality control processes. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with Agri Input Retailers, aggregators, and local suppliers. Track procurement data, commodity pricing, and supplier records. Analyze sourcing channels such as Khad Vij Vikreta, Aadatis, and others to optimize procurement efficiency. Design and execute local commodity procurement plans for Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Mustard, Soya, Barley, Gram, Black Gram, etc. Negotiate optimal pricing and terms with vendors and ensure timely fulfillment. Conduct quality checks (QC) on at least two major local commodities. Maintain a dynamic supplier database, monitor delivery timelines, and identify opportunities for expansion. Collaborate with the Procurement Manager and team to achieve regional sourcing goals. Required Skills & Qualifications Practical knowledge of at least two key commodities relevant to the Maharashtra region. Must be open to travel (minimum 50 km/day) and willing to relocate if required. Prior experience in sourcing Wheat, Paddy, Maize, Mustard, or Gaur Seeds is essential.
