Job Title: Mobile React Native Engineer Location: Mumbai Experience: Minimum 3 years in React Native development About the Role: We are looking for a Mobile React Native Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers to develop and maintain our private client mobile app. You will be responsible for building services from the ground up, working closely with a global team to develop shared libraries and components used across all mobile applications. Your focus will be on creating a rich, interactive mobile experience for iOS and Android, enabling private clients to manage their banking, borrowing, saving, and investment needs seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable mobile applications using React Native. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement key features. Build shared libraries and components for use across multiple applications. Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange. Ensure optimal performance, usability, and accessibility of the mobile app. Implement automated build processes and testing (React Testing Library, Jest, Detox, etc.). Work with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and design systems into functional components. Maintain a strong focus on software engineering principles and architecture. Use Git for version control and collaboration within a global team. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have: 3+ years of experience building applications with React Native. Proficiency in Redux (or similar state management libraries). Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript. Solid understanding of React Hooks, lifecycle methods, and performance optimizations. Experience in integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications. Hands-on experience with automated build processes and testing frameworks (React Testing Library, Jest, Detox, etc.). Experience implementing UI/UX elements based on wireframes and design systems. Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering principles and application architecture. Proficiency in using Git for version control. Exposure to cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Good-to-Have: Experience in native mobile app development (Objective-C/Swift for iOS or Java/Kotlin for Android). Familiarity with build and deployment pipelines.
