DevOps Engineer At QualTech, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we re looking for a DevOps Engineer responsible for implementing development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure, as well as deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations. What You Will Be Doing Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes. Deploy updates and fixes to applications. Develop scripts to automate visualization and build CI/CD pipelines. Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools. Debug platform failures and participate in incident response and maintenance. Assist in user management and configuration of integrated tools. Ensure systems are patched and up to date. Implement disaster recovery measures and improve operational stability. Perform root cause analysis and design troubleshooting procedures. Encourage and implement automated processes to minimize waste. Conduct risk management and cybersecurity assessments. Report progress periodically to management. Must-Have Skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience building and deploying .NET & PHP applications. Experience with shell scripting (PHP, Python, Bash). Proficiency with Git / SVN. Hands-on with deployment methodologies (VM and Cloud e.g., AWS). Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Terraform. Experience with Jenkins or other CI servers. Strong problem-solving attitude and collaborative mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good to Have Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Understanding of scaling, load balancing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with network security (WAF, VPN). Working knowledge of databases and SQL. This role involves understanding customer queries, providing timely solutions, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The engineer will also provide training and support, acting as a key liaison between the development team and customers.
