Job Title: Storage Development and Frontend Design Engineer As a Storage Development and Frontend Design Engineer, you will play a key role in both the development of innovative storage solutions and the design of intuitive frontend interfaces for storage-related applications. This dual-role position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and deliver storage products that combine technical robustness with an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities: Storage Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of storage solutions such as file systems, object storage, and data management platforms. Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of storage systems and frontend components. Contribute to system architecture design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of storage products. Frontend Design & Development: Design and prototype user interfaces (UI) for storage applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and modern design aesthetics. Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate workflows and gather valuable user feedback. Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to improve UI/UX based on real-world insights. Ensure frontend performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser/device compatibility for seamless user experiences. Develop modular, reusable UI components aligned with design guidelines for scalability and consistency. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to align design and development efforts with product goals and timelines. Clearly communicate design concepts, technical decisions, and project progress to internal teams and management, ensuring smooth collaboration. Collaborate with QA teams to conduct UI/UX reviews and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for final product approval. Documentation & Training: Document UI design patterns, frontend components, and style guides to ensure consistency across future projects. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on frontend technologies, design tools, and best practices. Qualifications & Skills: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field. Frontend Development Proficiency: Strong expertise in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. UI/UX Design Expertise: Hands-on experience with UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools like InVision or Axure. Linux Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience with Linux systems is essential for the role. User-Centered Design: Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture, and interaction design to create intuitive and effective user experiences. Preferred Background: 2-3 years of proven experience in frontend development, UI/UX design, and storage solution development. Experience in leading or mentoring a team of frontend developers and UI/UX designers. Familiarity with storage technologies, data structures, and backend systems is a plus.
