Role Overview We re looking for a Ruby on Rails expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building scalable multi-tenant applications, and writes clean, testable, and maintainable code. You ll play a key role in developing new features and maintaining high-performance applications used by thousands. Key Responsibilities Develop robust, scalable multi-tenant applications using Ruby on Rails. Follow and promote Rails best practices and coding standards. Write and maintain unit and integration tests (RSpec preferred). Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA teams. Participate in architectural decisions and code refactoring. Stay updated with backend tech trends and contribute to innovation. Write deployment and automation scripts (Capistrano, Ansible). Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to root cause analysis. Required Technical Skills Strong Ruby & Rails (latest versions) with architectural best practices. RESTful API development (JSON-Schema, JSONAPI, ActiveModelSerializer, JBuilder). Authentication: OAuth2, JWT. RSpec testing framework. Rails security best practices. PostgreSQL expertise Joins, relationships, DB partitioning, performance tuning. Background job processing Redis, Sidekihi. AWS tools usage. Linux, Git, and CI/CD automation. Bonus / Optional Skills Chef or Puppet for configuration management. DevOps skills (e.g., Linux server setup). WebSocket integration in Rails. Node.js, JRuby experience. Work on high-traffic applications (50M+ requests/day). Collaborate with a talented team in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Make real impact across diverse SaaS products.
