Job Responsibilities: Back-end Development: Plan, architect, integrate, and develop back-end and database-driven features using Python and frameworks like Django, Flask, and Tornado. Front-end Development: Create decoupled, interactive web UIs with JavaScript (Angular, Ember, jQuery). Technical Guidance: Provide technical advice and recommendations for language, frameworks, and software choices. Cross-Platform Development: Develop code that is cross-browser and cross-platform friendly. Collaboration: Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met and evaluate technologies. Ongoing Support: Provide support and ongoing development for existing projects. Documentation: Write clean code and ensure proper documentation for all projects. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in English, to articulate ideas and share updates. Technical Requirements: Experience: At least 4+ years of experience developing and deploying websites and applications. Django Expertise: Proficiency in Django framework. Agile/SCRUM: Experience with Agile/SCRUM practices. HTML/CSS: Hands-on experience hand-coding HTML and CSS. Database Experience: Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL and Cassandra (MongoDB is also a plus). Custom Web Apps: Experience with custom web-based application development, with startup experience being a bonus. Collaboration: Comfortable working with designers, front-end developers, and other team members. Object-Oriented Design: Strong grasp of object-oriented design and development strategies.
