What You ll Be Doing: Linux System Mastery: Administer and manage Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu), using your shell scripting expertise to ensure optimal performance and smooth system operations. Troubleshooting & Optimization: Tackle complex Linux system issues and optimize both hardware and software performance, ensuring seamless and reliable system functionality. SDK Module Management: Set up, manage, and troubleshoot SDK modules/libraries, compile and debug open-source projects, and contribute to successful deployments. HPC Cluster Management: Maintain and optimize HPC clusters to ensure efficiency, stability, and scalability, meeting the demands of high-performance computing solutions. Storage & File System Optimization: Manage and optimize storage configurations and file systems, ensuring that our HPC environments perform at their peak. Collaborative Solution Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy tailored HPC solutions that address client and business needs, delivering top-notch performance. What We re Looking for: Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and networking within medium-to-large scale environments. Technical Expertise: Expertise in Shell Scripting and Python to automate systems and optimize performance. HPC & Red Hat Experience: Experience in HPC cluster management is highly valued. If you ve worked on Red Hat projects, that s a plus! Certification: Red Hat Certification (RHEL) is a plus. What You'll Be Doing: Linux Systems Management Administer, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems (RHEL/Ubuntu) to ensure high performance and reliability. System Security & Updates Take charge of system security by managing updates, patching, and ensuring that systems stay secure and up to date. Performance Monitoring Monitor system performance to optimize storage and computing resources, ensuring smooth and efficient operation in complex environments. Automation & Efficiency Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and shell scripting, enhancing operational efficiency across the board. Storage Protocol Management Configure and manage NAS and SAN protocols to ensure seamless and secure storage management and data flow. File-Sharing Protocols Implement and manage SMB and NFS file-sharing protocols to ensure smooth accessibility and data sharing across the system. SDK & Library Management Handle the setup, compilation, and debugging of SDK modules and libraries, collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration. Web Server & FTP Management Configure and maintain Apache web servers, and manage FTP services for efficient and secure file sharing. Security Configuration Implement strong security measures using tools like IP tables and AppArmor, ensuring compliance with security policies. Troubleshooting Troubleshoot and resolve Linux system and storage application issues (RHEL/Ubuntu), ensuring overall system reliability and performance. Technical Support & Collaboration Offer technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration across all functions. Cluster Management Administer cluster management systems to support high availability and load balancing in large-scale environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and document technical processes and solutions effectively. What We re Looking For: Educational Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience 4-5 years of experience in Linux Administration, with a focus on Python and shell scripting for automation. Storage Technologies Solid hands-on experience with NAS/SAN protocols and storage technologies. Programming Expertise Strong proficiency in Python programming and shell scripting to streamline operations. Linux Security Tools Practical experience with tools like SMB, NFS, Apache, FTP, and Linux security tools (IP tables, AppArmor). Troubleshooting Skills Proven experience troubleshooting Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu) and resolving storage-related issues. Cluster Management Experience Familiarity with cluster management tools to support large-scale environments. Cloud Experience (Preferred) Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Strong Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and stakeholders. Collaboration & Independence Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Full Stack Development (Plus) Experience in Full Stack Development would be an added advantage. Preferred Background: Experience in medium-to-large organizations managing Linux and networking environments. Demonstrated contributions to Python projects and Linux-based solutions development.
