Responsibilities: Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work as a member of the UX team, collaborating with engineering, customer service, and QA to ensure cohesive design execution. Design Execution: Work closely with the Design Lead to ensure your designs meet customer expectations and align with product goals. Documentation: Write detailed documentation for design assets, ensuring efficient development and clarity for the implementation team. Pixel-Perfect Mockups: Deliver pixel-perfect mockups, icons, and other design assets to maintain high standards of quality. Iterative Design Process: Participate in iterative design processes, refine and validate design solutions, and ensure designs account for various device sizes, platforms, errors, and edge cases. Micro-Interactions: Define and implement elegant micro-interactions to enhance the user experience across various touchpoints. Design System Contribution: Collaborate with UX leads to ensure your designs align with the overall service-wide User Experience strategy and design system. Requirements: Experience: Two or more years of experience in UI design with a proven track record. Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing UI design work that can be presented and defended during the interview. Wireframes and Prototypes: Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards for responsive interfaces (desktop and mobile). Learning and Experimentation: A willingness to learn, experiment, and leverage data to improve designs and user experiences. Adaptability: Quickly become a local expert and adapt to new challenges. Execution and Quality: Strong ability to execute designs at a high level of quality while adhering to conceptual direction. Design Tools: Experience using design tools such as Adobe XD, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, and InVision. Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Creativity & Problem Solving: Creative thinking with a problem-solving mindset. Design Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends. Communication Skills: Ability to present creative ideas effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Open to Feedback: Open to receiving objective criticism and improving designs based on feedback. Cross-Browser Compatibility: Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and strategies for addressing them. Preferred Skills: Experience with JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming. Availability to work in EST time zone preferred.
