As a Cloud Architect, you will lead the way in establishing cloud technologies and services, developing standards, and helping drive the adoption of cloud-first solutions across the company. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Global Architecture Team: Work with the team to deliver key technology capabilities aligned with business strategy and IT modernization goals. Architectural Standards Development: Define new architectural standards for evolving cloud capabilities, ensuring alignment with security, information policies, and overall business objectives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with multiple business units and external vendors to support strategic programs, delivering new or enhanced digital assets. Enable Cloud-First Solutions: Drive the use of native cloud technologies and continuous delivery approaches to modernize IT services. Support Cloud Engineering & Operations: Provide technical expertise to advise on cloud solutions and assist with the deployment and management of cloud-based services. Incident & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead investigations into operational issues within the cloud infrastructure, identifying root causes and implementing mitigation strategies. Desired Experience & Skills: Experience: 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, with hands-on experience in delivering a variety of cloud-hosted technologies. 7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Native services. Proven experience in developing architectural standards, policies, and frameworks aligned with security and information policies. Strong background in deploying infrastructure using cloud platforms and leveraging their native capacities. Experience designing and delivering Hybrid Cloud architectures. Technical Skills: Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and best practices for maintaining a healthy CI/CD pipeline. Deep knowledge of cloud security standards and the ability to implement effective guardrails. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and lead teams in resolving complex production issues. Skilled in incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) to ensure minimal downtime. Soft Skills: High degree of self-motivation and adaptability. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.) are a plus. Why Work with Syngenta?
