This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions within an Oracle Database 19c environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL processing, PL/SQL development, and performance tuning methodologies. Responsibilities: Develop complex SQL queries, including subqueries, correlated subqueries, and dynamic SQL. Create SQL scripts for data migration and ETL processes. Utilize SQL*Loader for data loading from flat files and spreadsheets. Design and develop database objects (tables, views, indexes, constraints, synonyms, database links). Develop stored procedures, functions, and complex PL/SQL packages. Work with collections in PL/SQL. Apply knowledge of Oracle Database 19c features and awareness of Oracle 23c AI database. Understand Oracle architecture, data dictionary views, and catalog views. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks affecting SQL queries and the database. Utilize performance monitoring and reporting utilities (STATSPACK, AWR, ADDM, SQL Monitoring). Perform SQL tuning, PL/SQL tuning, and application tuning using tools like TKPROF, Explain Plan, and SQL Monitoring. Optimize SQL queries using indexes, table partitioning, and partition swapping. Optimize database performance by analyzing database objects, creating indexes, and materialized views. Apply bucketing concepts. Schedule and troubleshoot jobs in Oracle Database. Migrate data between database environments using Import/Export. Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in developing complex SQL queries, including subqueries, correlated subqueries, and dynamic SQL. Proficiency in PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and collections. Experience with data migration and ETL processes. Hands-on experience with SQL*Loader.
