Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Plan and execute IOS updates, hotfixes, and network hardening measures following best practices. Manage network device logs and monitor performance for Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell, and related devices. Conduct capacity planning and provide recommendations for network optimization. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and architectural diagrams. Enforce adherence to quality, security, and governance standards across the network environment. Deliver training and mentorship to L1/L2/L3 teams on new technologies and troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to coordinate issue resolution and change implementations. Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience (6+ years) with networking products such as routers, switches, wireless access points, load balancers, and WAN optimizers. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and switching protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, STP). Experience configuring VLANs, Trunking, VTP, switch port security, IPSEC/GRE tunnels. Skilled in DNS, DHCP, AAA, ISE, SNMP, and router management options. Proficiency with wireless technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus) and load balancing solutions (BIG-IP, Radware, Citrix, Array). Familiarity with WAN optimizers such as Riverbed and Silver Peak. Certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are required. Knowledge of Cisco DNA/SDA and firewall technologies is a plus.
