Scope: This role is responsible for executing chemical reactions to synthesize required quantities of molecules/compounds as per client specifications, using efficient routes and techniques. Key Responsibilities: Reaction Setup & Execution: Set up and execute reactions for the synthesis of target molecules/compounds, ensuring proper reagents and equipment (e.g., glassware, stirrers, vacuum pumps) are used while maintaining specified conditions (temperature, pressure). Safety Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Understand and discuss the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) with team members. Identify and mitigate any potential safety risks with supervisor guidance. Multi-Reaction Execution: Plan and execute multiple reactions in parallel to meet project timelines, ensuring optimum usage of resources with minimal wastage. Reaction Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor reactions using analytical techniques, identify appropriate workup and purification methods, and evaluate the results. General Summary: The Software Test Engineer will play a critical role in testing Qualcomm Sensing Hub features for various Qualcomm products. The position includes test planning, test case development, execution, and hands-on testing in both lab and field settings. The role also involves developing automation frameworks, debugging embedded systems, and collaborating with global teams for issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Test Development & Execution: Develop test cases and execute testing for Qualcomm Sensing Hub features. Conduct hands-on testing with mobile/handheld devices in labs and field environments. Automation Development: Create automation modules for sensor testing using C# and Python. Work Experience: 1+ year of work or academic experience with software/system testing and automation tools. 4-6 years of experience testing embedded systems and developing automated test cases/frameworks. Technical Skills: Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Java. Experience with Android application programming. Knowledge of debugging embedded systems and isolating issues. Familiarity with Qualcomm test tools (Axiom, QXDM, QDSS, etc.) and DIAG implementation. Exposure to sensors (e.g., inertial, pressure, ambient light) and related test equipment. Other Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global team environment. Principal Member of Technical Staff - Fusion Applications as a Service (FAaaS) About the Role: The Fusion Applications as a Service (FAaaS) team is building frameworks to facilitate the complete lifecycle management of the Fusion Application Database for provisioning, upgrade, and patching. This initiative is crucial for migrating Oracle's SaaS portfolio, including the multi-billion dollar revenue-producing Fusion applications, into a first-class Oracle cloud citizen. We are developing a next-generation framework optimized for scalability and performance, with a roadmap to handle upcoming features from OCI and Oracle Database. As a Principal Member of Technical Staff, you will own the development of distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems, responsible for the entire software lifecycle, from development and testing to CI/CD and production operations. This includes balancing product feature development with production operational concerns such as writing runbooks, ops automation, structured logging, and instrumentation for metrics and events, leveraging a wide range of internal OCI tooling. Responsibilities: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks. Build distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant software systems.
