About the Role Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) across the organization's client devices. • Monitor and manage client systems using centralized management tools such as Tachyon, Intune. • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, working closely with users to resolve technical problems. • Implement and maintain security measures, including antivirus, firewall, and encryption protocols. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new software or hardware solutions, ensuring compatibility with Windows client systems. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. • Assist in evaluating new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements. • Provide end-user training and support to ensure understanding and effective usage of Windows client systems. What you’ll bring to the role: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Proven work experience as a Windows Client Engineer or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems & Modern provisioning (Autopilot) • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and system security principles. Experience with centralized management tools such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM. • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell or similar) for automation purposes. Knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certifications (MCSA, MCSE), are a plus. General Summary: This role involves developing software for Qualcomm technologies, with a focus on Android frameworks, Linux user mode, and kernel drivers. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative solutions and demonstrate strong technical skills in C/C++, operating systems, and embedded systems. Key Responsibilities: Development & Programming: Utilize strong C/C++ programming skills for software development. Work on Android frameworks, Linux user mode, and kernel driver development. Embedded Systems Expertise: Develop and debug embedded systems, including working with hardware boards. Use JTAG-based debugging tools for troubleshooting. Multimedia Focus (Preferred): Contribute to projects in the multimedia domain, such as Display, Camera, Video, and Graphics. System Fundamentals & Processes: Apply a thorough understanding of operating systems and embedded fundamentals. Follow and improve software development life cycles. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
