Job Title: JAVA/JSF Developer Job Type: Full Time Location: Chennai Job Summary We are looking for a skilled JAVA/JSF Developer to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will deliver high availability and superior performance while contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java EE applications. Develop mission-critical, high-performance, and low-latency systems. Participate actively in all phases of the software development life cycle. Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver robust solutions. Implement best practices in software development and testing. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application issues. Ensure compliance with software quality standards and guidelines. Required Skills & Experience Proven hands-on experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Java EE platforms. Deep understanding of Java and JEE internals, including Classloading, Memory Management, and Transaction Management. Solid experience with JSF (JavaServer Faces) and/or Spring Framework for building web applications. Expertise in relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks such as JPA2 and Hibernate. Experience in developing applications following test-driven development (TDD). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team. Knowledge of popular web frameworks and software development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Technical Skill Sets: Core Java & J2EE: Proficient in Core Java (JDK 11+) and Java EE (J2EE), with expertise in Java EE 8. Spring Framework: Strong experience with Spring Framework 5+ including Core, MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch for developing robust, scalable applications. Vert.x & JavaFx: Experience working with Vert.x 3.5.1 and JavaFx (OpenJFX 11) for building reactive and desktop applications. Databases: Proficient in working with relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and H2DB for data storage and management. Web Servers: Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat and Apache for deploying web applications. Development Tools: Familiarity with development tools such as Spring Tool Suite 5, Eclipse, Maven, SVN/GIT, Nexus, Jenkins, and Gradle. Frontend Technologies: Proficient in frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, and Kendo UI for building interactive user interfaces. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in Java Web Development: At least 3 years of experience in Java web application development, focusing on server-side and client-side development. Web Development Expertise: Strong experience in web development using Java, Spring, and related web technologies. Project Exposure: Extensive exposure to both development and maintenance projects in a web-based environment. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Role & Responsibilities: Hands-on Development: Lead development efforts with hands-on coding experience in Java (preferably Java 8), primarily focusing on Spring MVC and Spring Boot-based JEE applications deployed on Tomcat or similar servers. Frontend Development: Expertise in server-client-side development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like jQuery and Angular (version 8 and above). Web Technologies: Proficient in Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP/REST, JSON, jQuery, and Git for building web applications. Building RESTful Services: Hands-on experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot, Spring Web Services (Spring WS), and other related technologies. JVM & J2EE Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of JVM internals, J2EE architecture/design patterns, Object-Oriented Design methodologies, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and data modeling techniques. CI/CD & Deployment: Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins or similar. Agile Environment: Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment, contributing to the full development lifecycle. Testing & Automation: Experience with building automated testing suites using tools such as Selenium and Galen (preferred but not required). Cloud Deployment: Experience with cloud-based deployments, particularly on platforms such as Azure and AWS.
