About the Role DFT Engineer The Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineering team at NVIDIA is at the cutting edge of innovation, solving complex challenges in DFT architecture, verification, and post-silicon validation for some of the most advanced semiconductor chips in the industry. We are looking for a passionate DFT engineer to join our team and help shape the future of technology. What You ll Be Doing Design and implement state-of-the-art DFT features, including test access mechanisms, IO BIST, memory BIST, and scan compression. Verify and validate Scan ATPG and other DFT features, both in simulation and during silicon bring-up. Develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next-generation products, continuously improving DFT quality and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DFT features into the overall chip design. Occasionally participate in travel and late-hour online meetings during critical project milestones. What We Need to See BSEE or MSEE from a reputable institution or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in DFT, ASIC design, or a related field. Strong understanding of static timing analysis, ECO, ASIC/logic design flow, HDL, and digital logic design. Experience in RTL and gate-level verification and simulation. Familiarity with BIST architecture, JTAG, and IEEE standards (1149.1/1500). Proficiency in Scan ATPG, compression techniques, and memory tests. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Scripting knowledge (Perl or Python) is essential. Summary of Essential Job Functions: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Python, Pandas, Spark, and Dataflow. Strong expertise in relational databases, including SQL Server and MySQL, coupled with a deep understanding of cloud platforms. Construct and integrate large, complex data sets to fulfill both functional and non-functional business requirements. Analyze and integrate diverse systems and data sources through ETL processes and logic, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to visualization teams and business stakeholders. Optimize and troubleshoot data pipelines to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. Ensure data integrity and quality across the pipeline by implementing effective validation and testing strategies. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as redesigning infrastructure for scalability, improving data delivery methods, and automating manual tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business data requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, including design specifications, code comments, and operational guides. Provide technical support for production issues, including troubleshooting, query optimization, and process enhancements. Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and fostering continuous learning. Knowledge of data analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Data Studio, and Apache Superset is highly desirable. Work Experience & Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in data design, development, and pipeline management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and internal teams.
