In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of electron beam (e-beam) machines used in the curing process for wires and cables. This position is critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor e-beam machines for wire and cable curing. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate operational records. Monitor production output and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards. Follow strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines as instructed by RSO (Radiation Safety Officer). Read and interpret blueprints and schematics relevant to the curing process. Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and correct defects. Maintain knowledge of rewinding machine defects and implement corrective actions. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all safety equipment is used properly. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and customer specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, conducting inspections, analyzing production data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and conduct quality inspections throughout the aluminium extrusion process to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. Perform visual and dimensional inspections to detect defects such as surface irregularities, warping, or out-of-spec measurements. Analyze production workflows to identify and implement quality improvements along the extrusion lines. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in the aluminium extrusion industry. Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and relevant industry-specific quality standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot and resolve quality issues promptly. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting DCM and Fluke testing, analyzing electrical test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
