Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for both technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all documentation assets. Develop supporting visual content such as diagrams, flowcharts, and presentations. Ensure documentation is updated with every product release. Follow and implement best practices for documentation usability, structure, and accessibility. Requirements Strong written, verbal, and grammatical communication skills. Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance documentation workflows. Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite. Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure high-quality, error-free content. Role Overview: BMC is seeking an Experienced Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for complex software products. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, product managers, and customer support teams to ensure that documentation is accurate, clear, and user-friendly. Responsibilities: Documentation Development: Become a product subject matter expert and suggest recommendations to improve technical content based on the target audience. Develop high-quality technical documentation in collaboration with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and customer support. Create content from scratch, as well as update legacy documents to meet Style Guide writing standards. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with team members to ensure documentation meets single-sourcing and Style Guide requirements. Suggest creative ways to improve documentation deliverables and processes. Content Quality & Accuracy: Review and revise technical documents to maintain high levels of quality, consistency, and clarity. Ensure documentation adheres to industry-specific standards and guidelines. Multidisciplinary Team Support: Work effectively with global and culturally diverse teams to produce clear, concise documentation that meets user needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: 4-7 years of experience as a Technical Writer. Proven experience writing technical documentation for complex software products. Experience working in a documentation team. Technical Expertise: Experience writing content from scratch, as well as updating and improving legacy documents to align with Style Guide writing standards. High proficiency with industry-standard authoring/publishing tools. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize work effectively. Native English speaker with proficiency in Hebrew (a plus). Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and quality, ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and easy to understand. Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have): Technical Writing Training: Completion of a Technical Writing Course is a plus. Enterprise Experience: Experience working in an enterprise company and with complex systems. Flare Expertise: Experience with Flare or similar tools is beneficial. Compensation & Benefits: The midpoint of the salary band for this role is 2,033,200 INR. The actual salary will depend on factors such as experience, skillset, and other relevant criteria.
