Job Objective: As a Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the safe, efficient, and cost-effective technical operation of your assigned vessels. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the technical performance of assigned vessels, ensuring all equipment and machinery operate effectively. Manage the planning, execution, and follow-up of dry-docking and major repairs. Assess and manage requisition requests from vessels, ensuring timely delivery and quality of spares, stores, and consumables, in line with BSM Procurement Procedures. Ensure all reporting requirements related to incidents, technical updates, maintenance, repairs, operational status, docking, and budget spend are met on time with high-quality reporting standards. Review and provide feedback on senior officers' performance appraisals, ensuring fair evaluations and supporting their career development. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering. Minimum 3 years of sailing experience as Second Engineer/Chief Engineer on Container Vessels or Bulk Carriers. At least 3 years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent in a ship management or ship-owning company (Container/Bulk). Position: Technical Buyer Vessel Procurement Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division: Corporate Location: Mumbai Experience: 7 9 years Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or Graduate in Commerce Job Purpose To manage procurement operations specific to marine assets including tugs, barges, and support vessels by ensuring timely sourcing of spares, consumables, capital items, and services to support uninterrupted vessel operations across various projects. Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations Process material requisitions and indents received from vessels, ensuring timely procurement of all required items. Procure capital equipment, spares, inventory items, consumables, and marine-specific services for vessels across projects. Float RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial proposals, finalize vendors, and issue purchase orders. Ensure timely material delivery through regular follow-ups with suppliers and logistics partners. Vendor Management Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable suppliers, vendors, and contractors in the marine domain. Position: Manager Taxation Department: Finance & Accounts Division: Corporate Finance & Accounts Location: Mumbai Experience: 10+ years post-qualification Qualification: Chartered Accountant (C.A.) Job Purpose To lead and manage all aspects of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other regulatory compliance. The role involves representing the organization before tax authorities, managing assessments, returns, and ensuring tax efficiency across all registered entities and sister concerns. Key Responsibilities Indirect Taxation (GST & Service Tax): Manage timely registration, POB amendments, and monthly/annual GST returns across all registered states (currently 9 states and 5 sister concerns). Handle GST assessments, appeals, notices, and drafting of replies for all registered entities. Ensure accurate GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC-04 filings, and coordinate annual returns (GSTR-9 & 9C) in collaboration with GST auditors. Advise on and manage e-way bill generation before movement of goods. Conduct test checks of invoices booked in Tally and ensure corrections are made where necessary. Analyze and implement ITC reversals (180-day rule), RCM, blocked credits, and make corresponding entries in books and GST returns. Direct Taxation: Supervise and assist subordinates appearing before Income Tax authorities for assessments, appeals, rectifications, and online responses. Oversee TDS compliance and assessments, including VAT and SEZ-related tax proceedings. Coordinate preparation and timely filing of income tax returns and other related statutory submissions. General & Strategic Tax Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with ROC, FLA, and all statutory tax filings (Income Tax, GST, etc.).
