Position Summary The Test Architect is a critical member of our engineering team, functioning primarily as an Individual Contributor. The role involves ensuring the testing, maintenance, and quality assurance of our software products. The Test Architect will drive the overall testing strategy, providing technical direction and ensuring the seamless execution of manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to existing systems and take ownership of driving innovation, developing new solutions, and enhancing current projects with additional components and modules. Job Roles and Responsibilities Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans for functional and regression testing. Ensure thorough test coverage across different scenarios and platforms. Develop, execute, and manage test cases, test scripts, and test automation strategies for both web and mobile applications. Build and maintain automation frameworks to support continuous integration and scalable testing. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual effort while increasing accuracy. Participate in Pre-Sales, Estimations, and Upselling activities, when required, to provide technical insight and promote quality assurance excellence. Ensure compliance with internal and industry QA standards and best practices. Keep up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and trends to maintain cutting-edge QA practices. Conduct retrospective reviews following project delivery to identify improvements for future projects. Technical Requirements Strong experience in Manual Testing, including test case creation, functional testing, and regression testing. Strong experience in Automation Testing, particularly with tools like Selenium, Java, and TestNG. Expertise in designing, updating, and executing comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test conditions for both Functional and Automation testing. Ability to set up and maintain Automation frameworks using Data Driven, Keyword Driven, or Hybrid approaches. Familiarity with additional tools like Cucumber, Robot Framework, and Katalon is a plus. Proficient in bug tracking tools such as Jira, BugZilla, or Unfuddle for bug reporting and tracking. Preferred Additional Expertise (Good to Have) Experience with AI Testing, Performance Testing, API Testing, and Security Testing. Previous experience in client communication and the ability to manage client expectations independently. Required Skill Set & Experience Educational Background: B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA in Computer Science or equivalent.
