Job Title: Associate Software Engineer (MERN Stack) Location: Mohali, India Department: Web Development Experience: 0.9 1.5 years Openings: 10 Position Summary We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the development of innovative software products, quickly learn existing systems, and actively participate in enhancing them as the business grows. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Software Development Hands-on development and maintenance of web applications. Perform coding, design, testing, and system maintenance. Conduct code and design reviews. Utilize a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach to deliver high-quality code. Collaboration & Communication Communicate effectively via emails and Slack. Provide proactive status updates and structured, fact-based arguments. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving & Initiative Balance short-term needs with long-term goals. Analyze potential risks and find solutions proactively. Take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion. Technical Requirements Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in ES6+ (EcmaScript 6+), JavaScript. Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, Express.js. Knowledge of MySQL or MongoDB. Good to Have: Experience with GraphQL (plus). Familiarity with Serverless & Microservices Architecture. Understanding of AWS services (Primary ones). Experience with Linters, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp (plus). Candidate Profile Follows industry standards and best coding practices. Strong understanding of JavaScript & Object-Oriented Design. Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Willingness to accept challenges and tackle complex problems. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Qualification & Experience Degree: B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience: 0.9 to 1.5 years in a functional or technical role.
