Your primary focus will be developing all server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to client requests. Given that these web services operate 24/7/365 with high data throughput, your code must meet rigorous standards for resilience and performance. For internal company web applications, you will also integrate front-end elements, requiring a basic understanding of front-end technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain server-side logic using PHP and PHP web frameworks. Integrate front-end components built by front-end developers into the application. Manage database schemas and optimize MySQL queries for performance. Ensure application security and handle user authentication and authorization across multiple systems. Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems. Address common PHP and web server exploits with effective solutions. Use version control tools like Git or Subversion for code management. Required Skills Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and object-oriented PHP programming. Basic understanding of front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS. Understanding of accessibility and security compliance principles. Familiarity with PHP platform limitations and workarounds. Proficient in MySQL query language and optimization techniques. Experience with user authentication and authorization mechanisms. Proficient with code versioning tools (Git, Subversion).
