Job Title: Technical Manager Electronics NPD Quality Department: ETG Location: Coimbatore Experience Required: 10 15 Years Education: B.E / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, or EIE M.E / M.Tech in ECE, EEE, or EIE Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Manager Electronics NPD Quality to lead quality assurance activities for instrument clusters and driver information systems. The ideal candidate will ensure robust implementation of automotive quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle, serve as a key liaison with customers, and drive continuous improvement in product and process quality. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, managing complaints, identifying root causes, and ensuring effective resolution. Oversee and implement quality systems including APQP, PPAP, and core tools, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards. Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for issues arising during new product development (NPD). Apply quality methodologies such as 7QC Tools, 8D, and structured problem-solving techniques to improve product quality and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and customers to ensure smooth and successful new product introductions (NPIs) for electronic displays and clusters. Ensure design quality by enforcing best practices such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Lead failure analysis and circuit troubleshooting for PCBAs and electronic components during development and validation phases. Support hardware and software validation, with specific focus on instrument clusters and driver information system technologies. Maintain a strong customer-centric mindset, aligning quality deliverables with customer expectations and program milestones. Technical Skills & Requirements: Proven expertise in NPD Quality Systems, including APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and the 5 Core Tools. Deep understanding of instrument cluster and driver information system technologies. Strong background in failure analysis, circuit analysis, and electronic troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in software and hardware validation of automotive electronics. Familiarity with DFM, DFA, and product integration into automotive dashboards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage customer quality expectations effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to quality improvement initiatives. Qualification : M.E / M.Tech in ECE, EEE, or EIE

Position: Technician QA In Process Inspection Location: Coimbatore Department: QA In Process Inspection Employee Type: Staff Purpose of the Role Responsible for **in-process, dimensional, and final inspection** of products. Ensure timely stage-wise, final inspection, and **First Article Inspection (FAI)**. Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports. Conduct product and process audits. Ensure adherence to **Quality Management System (QMS)** and customer quality requirements. Handle **non-conformances** and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Inspection & Quality Control Perform **in-process, dimensional, and final inspections** to achieve quality targets. Execute QC activities to reduce **COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality)** and scrap. Ensure highest quality output that meets customer expectations in a cost-effective manner. Carry out critical inspections and ensure job closure by technicians, accurately recorded in **route cards/Oracle system**. Quality Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain **quality plans** complying with drawings, process documents, and customer requirements. Prepare **FAI documents (Form 1, 2, and 3) as per AS9102** for allocated projects. Inspect full and partial FAI parts and verify associated documents and reports. Maintain records as per **TQM, AS9100, Nadcap**, and customer standards. Audits & Continuous Improvement Conduct **product and process audits** as per audit schedules. Raise alerts for non-conformance/deviations and ensure resolution. Verify implementation of **Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA)**. Analyze quality data to identify trends and participate in **New Product Development (NPD)** to identify quality requirements. Team Coordination & Training Allocate work to technicians and monitor shift-wise progress. Provide **on-the-job training and guidance** to new joiners. Track operator performance, provide feedback, and support skill development. Dimensional & Material Inspection Conduct **dimensional inspections** of composite parts, metallic parts, and tooling as per inspection plans. Prepare, review, and maintain inspection reports for composites, metallic parts, and tooling. Required Skills & Competencies Knowledge of **dimensional inspection techniques** for composites, metallic parts, and tooling. Familiarity with quality standards such as **AS9100, Nadcap**, and customer-specific requirements. Strong **documentation and reporting skills**. Ability to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions. **Team coordination, mentoring, and training** capabilities. **Analytical thinking** and proficiency in using advanced quality control tools.
