Position: Technician Assembly (Air Intake) Location: Coimbatore Department: Assembly Air Intake Employee Type: Staff Purpose of the Role Execute **assembly activities for metallic parts** as per daily production plan. Ensure responsiveness to customer needs and **timely delivery**. Maintain quality standards to achieve **zero-defect output**. Optimize **resource utilization**, including materials, tools, and machinery. **100% adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)** for defect-free component delivery. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Assembly Operations & Quality Execute assembly tasks for **on-time delivery of defect-free products**. Follow assembly processes and **suggest improvements** for quality, delivery, and cost reduction. Maintain **Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)** within acceptable limits. Analyze and resolve customer complaints using **QC story methodology**. Execute daily workloads, adhering to **cycle times**. Collect **BOM parts** and verify against router & MTS for operations. Manufacture **FAI and production parts with 100% quality**. Perform **Bush & Helicoil, pin installation**, and other specialized assembly operations. Training & Supervision Guide and provide **on-the-job training** to fresh technicians to improve skill levels. Track operator performance, provide feedback, and drive **continuous skill development**. Equipment & Tools Management Ensure machines and tools are **functioning correctly** to meet production targets. Follow assembly work instructions using **pneumatic hand tools and cutting tools**. Maintain knowledge of **consumables specifications**, preparation, application, shelf life, and expiry. Check **jigs & fixtures calibration** before starting work. Ensure inspection parameters are adhered to as per MTS, recording in **SIR reports** with calibrated instruments. Process & Systems Compliance Update **ERP** with stage completion after finishing work order operations. Achieve **OLE (Work Order Scanning) above 90%** as planned. Follow **PPE guidelines**, identify **near-miss incidents**, and implement monthly **Kaizen initiatives**. Continuous Improvement & Learning Collaborate with the automation team to identify use cases and implement **process improvement initiatives**. Stay updated on latest technologies and tools in assembly; suggest and implement them where applicable.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Lead Department: ETG Location: Coimbatore Experience Required: 5 15 Years Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Lead to drive the design and development of automotive components and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Creo, a strong background in mechanical design principles, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes for plastics, sheet metal, and die casting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and refine 3D models of automotive components such as engines, transmissions, chassis, body panels, and enclosures using Creo. Assemble individual components into larger vehicle modules or systems within the CAD environment. Create and evaluate conceptual designs based on customer requirements and engineering standards. Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost using Creo s advanced design tools such as Behavioral Modeling. Perform FEA and CFD simulations using Creo to validate mechanical performance under stress, thermal, and dynamic conditions. Design complex sheet metal parts and freeform surfaces for bodywork, enclosures, and aerodynamic structures. Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with accurate dimensions, GD&T, and annotations. Apply robust design methodologies including DFMEA, DFA, and DFM to ensure product quality and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development and lead design reviews. Support the design and development of plastic components, especially for instrument clusters, infotainment systems, and display housings. Technical Skills & Requirements: Expert-level proficiency in Creo and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Deep understanding of plastic component design, sheet metal, and die casting processes. Proven experience in product design and development, including: Design calculations Design of Experiments (DoE) GD&T and stack-up analysis Design validation and optimization Knowledge of LCD/TFT instrument clusters, infotainment systems, and related mechanical packaging. Strong command of design for manufacturing and assembly principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders. Qualification : M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics
