Snowflake Developer Location: Mumbai Experience: 6+ years Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Design and develop data models, schemas, and pipelines in Snowflake. ETL/ELT Implementation: Implement ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks. Performance Optimization: Optimize query performance, indexing, clustering, and partitioning for large datasets. Stored Procedures & UDFs: Develop stored procedures, UDFs, and views to support business logic. Security & Governance: Manage Snowflake security, role-based access control (RBAC), and data governance. Integration: Integrate Snowflake with various data sources using Python, AWS/Azure/GCP, or ETL tools like Informatica, dbt, Talend, etc. Best Practices: Implement best practices for data warehousing, data lake, and real-time analytics. Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, BI teams, and Analysts to support reporting and analytics. Requirements: Experience: 6+ years of experience working with Snowflake and cloud data platforms. SQL Expertise: Strong expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and optimization. ETL/ELT Tools: Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Matillion, Talend, or Informatica. Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services like S3, Lambda, Data Factory, or Cloud Functions. Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact & Dimension Tables). Scripting: Experience with Python/Shell scripting for automation and data transformations. CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD for Snowflake development using Git, Terraform, or dbt. Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, access controls, and compliance standards. Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
