Programme Manager Location: Cochin CTC: 9 Lakhs per annum and above About the Role: We are seeking an energetic and innovative Programme Manager to lead cutting-edge software development projects, primarily focused on API-driven solutions ranging from collaboration tools to gamification applications. The role demands expertise in managing scalable RESTful APIs and service integrations while ensuring high availability and performance during peak loads. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end software lifecycle activities: consulting, requirement gathering, approval, use case & architecture documentation, QA coordination, client and team communication, finance and sales interfacing, delivery, maintenance, and feature enhancement. Manage international, multicultural projects. Oversee continuous integration, nightly builds, release management, and version control. Drive projects emphasizing backend technologies over UI. Utilize project management and bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Clearquest, PivotalTracker, Git, SVN). Apply Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies effectively. Technical Skills & Domain Expertise: Strong background in Telecom, Networking, or Finance domain. Proficient with Java, EJB, Python, Perl, PHP. Experience with databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, TimesTen, OODB. Knowledge of caching and search tools: Memcache, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Solr. Familiarity with DevOps tools and Atlassian suite (Hudson, Jenkins). Non-Microsoft tech stack preferred, but MS stack experts are welcome. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 8+ years in software development, modeling, programming, design, and analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working effectively with culturally diverse and international teams. Qualification : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
