Position Title: Data Modeler Location: Hyderabad Department: Data & Analytics Experience Required: 4+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Company: GSPANN Technologies Job Description: GSPANN is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Modeler to join our Hyderabad team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business intelligence and decision-making processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn complex data into meaningful insights. Roles and Responsibilities: Translate business requirements into well-structured data models. Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users. Ensure data integrity and consistency across various data sources and systems. Use data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio) to document metadata and relationships. Participate in data profiling, analysis, and cleansing initiatives. Provide technical leadership on data structure standards and best practices. Support data governance, cataloging, and quality assurance efforts. Work in Agile environments and contribute to sprint planning and execution. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of experience in data modeling (relational, dimensional, or NoSQL). Hands-on experience with tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or equivalent. Strong SQL skills and ability to handle large datasets. Experience with RDBMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Exposure to ETL tools and data pipeline development. Knowledge of metadata and data lineage tools.
