Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor e-beam machines for wire and cable curing. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime. Follow strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines as instructed by RSO (Radiation Safety Officer). Read and interpret blueprints and schematics relevant to the curing process. Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and correct defects. Maintain knowledge of rewinding machine defects and implement corrective actions. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all safety equipment is used properly. Key Skills and Qualifications: Hands-on experience operating e-beam machines (preferred in cable manufacturing industry). Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Familiarity with defect control, rewinding machines, and production quality checks. Strong understanding of safety protocols in handling e-beam or radiation-emitting equipment. Knowledge of basic cable and wire production standards. Proficiency in recording accurate data and performing quality checks. BARC Certification (mandatory) for working with Gamma and Electron Beam equipment. Preferred Experience: Prior work in the cable manufacturing industry with direct e-beam machine handling.
