Production Manager Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India Responsibilities The manager is responsible for maintaining occupational safety at the workplace and ensuring compliance with prescribed fire prevention and hygiene rules. Compliance monitoring and implementation of prescribed work instructions, procedures, and safety rules. Monthly communication and briefing to the team about safety regulations and compliances, technical briefing, and performance of the screw filling process. Ensure training for newly hired employees and maintain a skill matrix for all operatives, while encouraging multi-skilling of employees. Coordinate and supervise the maintenance of the screw filling line with the maintenance function, ensuring machine health checks as per defined frequency and checklist. Ensure that all alarms, sensors, mistake-proofing devices, moving and friction parts are inspected and maintained in good working condition for machine operation. Ensure full cleaning of explosive material in the screw filling line before machine is handed over for any repair and maintenance work, and ensure that a valid maintenance work order/permit is issued for such work. Ensure that all operatives are well-trained in fire drills and the use of fire extinguishers and alarms. The manager shall be capable of managing production, product quality, team management, and supervision of safety procedures. Design Engineer - Propellant Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners to assess the current plant design and integrate new systems like wastewater treatment, NOx gas absorption, and other environmental control systems. Ensure compliance with Indian environmental laws by using Indian regulatory standards. Design and develop technical specifications and system schematics for system integration using CAD software. Act as the liaison between internal plant teams and external technology partners to ensure smooth integration of new systems into existing plant infrastructure. Work with local and international vendors, managing relationships, reviewing proposals, and ensuring designs meet the specific needs of the Indian plant. Support the project management team with cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation for system integration projects. Ensure projects comply with Indian industry standards, including construction codes and environmental regulations. Provide technical updates to senior management, ensuring milestones are met and integration of new systems does not interfere with plant production. Participate in the testing and commissioning of new systems, ensuring they meet performance specifications. Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during integration and commissioning. Optimize systems for efficiency, operational safety, and compliance with Indian environmental guidelines. Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, testing, and commissioning procedures for internal and regulatory review. Submit required reports to authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations. Prepare periodic progress reports for management on projects, issues, and solutions implemented. Incorporate energy-efficient practices in system designs to meet sustainability goals and reduce energy consumption within the Indian regulatory framework. Stay updated with national sustainability standards and ensure compliance. Qualifications Educational Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Certifications in environmental compliance, safety, or project management are preferred (e.g., LEED, Six Sigma, etc.). Firsthand experience with design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Fusion360, etc. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in system design and integration, particularly in manufacturing environments. Prior experience in propellant, chemical, or heavy manufacturing industries is desirable. Familiarity with process systems specific to propellant manufacturing or chemical industries. Knowledge of automation, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial applications. Knowledge of environmental systems such as wastewater management, air pollution control (NOx), and waste management. Strong programming skills and experience in design field. Qualification : Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Collect initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas, and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification. Collaborate with internal teams to assess the current plant design and integrate new systems. Verify all numerical specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and manual calculations. Coordinate for layout design and optimization with internal project and operations teams. The mechanic does not have to be directly present on the production line during the filling of the shell, however, in the event of a malfunction, they must be available to solve the problem. The Mechanic shall perform preventive checks of the screw filling line as well as all mechanical equipment installed in the large calibre plant. The Mechanic shall ensure preventive checks and plan for rectification of problems in utility sections of the entire large calibre facility.
