Key Responsibilities Execute CNC machining operations to meet the defined tool manufacturing plan on a shift basis. Ensure optimal utilization of CNC machines and work to improve machine uptime. Perform programming and setup of CNC machines for new part numbers. Conduct in-process inspections after each machining step and maintain records. Work to reduce rejection and rework rates, aiming for zero defects. Train and support operators on CNC operations and process improvements. Identify process optimization opportunities to reduce machining costs by 10% annually. Collaborate with production teams to minimize tool downtime and improve overall productivity. Qualifications Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent technical qualification. Experience: 3 to 8 years of experience working as a CNC Operator/Technician in a manufacturing or tool room environment, preferably in the automotive industry. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in CNC programming (G-Code, M-Code), setup, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with inspection tools and quality documentation.
