Preparation: Measure and prepare metals for heating and processing. Material Selection: Select and apply appropriate filler metals as needed. Monitoring: Monitor furnace operations to prevent damage and maintain consistent temperature. Smithing Techniques: Apply smithing techniques for shaping and forming metals. Safety & Maintenance: Load and handle raw materials into furnaces safely. Maintain and operate machinery while following safety protocols and wearing protective gear. Maintain **machine performance, utilization, and uptime**. Achieve **100% quality** for all manufactured parts. Implement and follow **Total Quality Management (TQM)** initiatives. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Ensure all materials and resources are ready for manufacturing. Operate machines efficiently to meet production targets. Observe, identify, and report **abnormalities** through supervisors. Ensure **first-part self-inspection** and approval before QA submission. Record process details accurately in machine log registers. Ensure finished products match router quantity and quality requirements. Stack each finished part correctly in zip-lock covers or bins. Achieve **machine utilization of over 90%** consistently. Equipment & Maintenance Maintain machines in **proper working condition**, including lubrication. Arrange and set up material handling equipment and machinery. Ensure measuring instruments are in **good condition and calibrated**. Allocate work to employees during machine breakdowns or idle time.
