Power Electronics Engineer Experience: 2+ years Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Role & Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the design, development, and selection of power electronics components and systems. Component Design & Selection: Design and select semiconductor components, cooling mechanisms, passive components, and protection circuits. Experience in AC-AC, AC-DC, DC-DC power conversion and motor driver/controllers. Expertise in Battery Management Solutions, LED drivers, and various power-related products. Power Electronics Development: Design and develop power electronics components like converters, inverters, filters, and battery chargers as per the specifications. Develop and verify digital and analog power electronics control hardware. Experience in designing power converters/inverters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and harmonic solutions. Component Knowledge: Experience with electrical components such as temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, drives, batteries, contactors, and controllers. Understanding of analog circuits, protection circuits, and controller hardware is an advantage. Experience in magnetic design and selection of MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SCRs for high-power applications. Simulation & Circuit Design: Experience with circuit simulation tools like Matlab, PSIM, or LTspice. Experience in PCB layout design with high-voltage ranges (1kV functional). Safety & Compliance: Familiarity with typical safety norms and requirements for power converter systems. Understanding hardware-mechanical and hardware-software interfaces. Testing & Verification: Experience in using test equipment like CRO, Frequency Meters, Signal Generators, Power Supplies, Data Loggers, and Electronic Loads for system verification. Design Principles: Understanding of fundamental analytical equations and design principles for inductors and transformers. Knowledge of converter controls and specifications. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in power electronics design and development. Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of power electronics components, design principles, and simulation tools. Hands-on experience with high-power designs and converters, inverters, and control systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
