Stay Updated on Security Trends: Keep informed about emerging security threats and technologies, continually improving security mechanisms to safeguard against new threats for WAF and API. Incident Response: Participate in incident response and investigations to understand the root cause of security breaches and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents. Process Improvement: Lead initiatives for improving processes, systems, and products to optimize the performance and effectiveness of security measures. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's (BE/B.Tech) or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience. Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with network protocols like TCP, UDP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and web application security, particularly in WAF and bot mitigation. Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-leading WAF solutions like Citrix NetScaler AppFirewall, Imperva, ModSecurity, or F5 BIG-IP ASM. Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, and scripting languages like Python or Perl. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify, assess, and mitigate security threats quickly. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
