Required Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in AVEVA E3D, SmartPlant 3D (SP3D), and IDS Viewer. Strong knowledge of piping specifications, including supports, insulation, and special components (e.g., strainers, steam traps, vents). Experience in equipment, structural, and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) modeling. Familiarity with laser-scanning techniques and transforming point cloud data into intelligent models. Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and equipment datasheets accurately. Competency in creating multi-disciplinary 2D deliverables from 3D models. Understanding of PMS/VMS systems and catalog-based modeling practices. Strong coordination and communication skills to work with cross-functional engineering teams. Educational Qualifications: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related technical field. Experience: 5 10 years of relevant experience in 3D modeling for petrochemical, chemical, or refinery projects. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with E3D or SP3D platforms. Prior exposure to laser-scanned model development, particularly in projects with limited or outdated documentation, is highly preferred.
