The Role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our data engineering team in Hyderabad. Partnering closely with Data Architects, you ll drive the design and development of scalable, cloud-based data pipelines and models, ensuring data quality, security, and performance. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with global accounting standards, and efficient payroll-related processes. Key Responsibilities: Payroll & Accounting Operations Analyze payroll calculations and validate journal entries received from payroll operations. Support SOX compliance, maintain internal controls, and handle audit queries (both internal and external). Analysis & Review Conduct flux analysis for all payroll-related accounts (B/S & P&L). Review and analyze employee-related liabilities and their impact on financial reporting. Communication & Support Manage the payroll accounting mailbox and respond within established TAT (Turnaround Time). Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in global conference calls. Provide support during year-end close and external audits. Project Participation Proactively contribute to special projects as needed, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
