Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule materials for BOF components and sub-contract suppliers. Production planning and scheduling to align with customer requirements. Monitor production credits and production backlogs to ensure seamless operations. Release supplier schedules with a firm one-month plan and tentative three-month forecast. Track and improve supplier delivery performance. Control DOH (Days on Hand) and inventory levels to stay within budget. Work to reduce premium freight costs. Monitor goods in transit and VMI stock. Ensure material availability as per SIL production plans. Daily review of production priorities and follow-up with suppliers to meet SIL production requirements. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 8 years in materials planning or procurement planning within a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: SAP MM Module expertise is essential. Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. Thorough understanding of procurement planning processes. Communication: Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
