PCB Design Engineer Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Experience: 4+ years Role Type: Full-time Role & Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design, electronics, and electrical systems. As a PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing PCB layouts, ensuring optimal component placement, and troubleshooting electronic circuits. PCB Design & Layout: Develop detailed PCB layouts, perform component placements, and determine wire routings. Create libraries for PCB designs, ensuring that all components used in designs are appropriately represented. Work with PCB manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and communicate specifications. Schematic Creation & Documentation: Create schematic symbols and ensure proper documentation for all PCB designs. Prepare documents for PCB assembly, including test documentation and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Write electrical parameters and specifications for PCB design (Gerber generation, stencils). Design Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve any design-related issues in PCB layouts and circuit functionality. Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and resolve any performance or design issues. Thermal & Transmission Line Analysis: Perform thermal analysis of PCB designs and ensure the layout supports heat dissipation. Analyze and design transmission lines in PCBs to ensure signal integrity. Product Development & New Design: Lead new product development and evaluate driver development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all designs meet electrical, mechanical, and functional requirements. Manufacturing Support & Collaboration: Prepare the necessary documents for PCB manufacturing and ensure the timely completion of BOMs and drawings. Coordinate with PCB manufacturers to ensure smooth fabrication and assembly processes. Support the PCB assembly process, including understanding SMD, through-hole, and BGA technologies. Provide input for PCB assembly and troubleshooting. Test & Measurement: Have a basic understanding of test and measurement equipment used for PCB testing. Perform quality checks and validation of PCB assemblies and components. Requirements: Experience: 4+ years of experience in PCB design, including component selection, layout, and troubleshooting. Experience with PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad, etc.). Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering. Skills: Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals, including an understanding of electronic components and systems. In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, schematics, component packages, and sizes. Expertise in PCB thermal analysis and understanding of transmission line theory in PCB design. Strong background with through-hole, SMT, and BGA technologies. Experience in PCB assembly, soldering techniques for both through-hole and SMD components. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and circuit development skills.
