Software Development Engineer Level 3 (Python/Django Developer) Job Description: As a Software Development Engineer Level 3 (Python/Django Developer), you will be responsible for implementing the relevant server-side architecture for both web and mobile applications based on client requirements. Your primary focus will be on leading the team and ensuring high-quality code and ease of usability for requests from various teams. You will also follow up with team members to ensure timely project delivery and the production of robust, bug-free code. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop web and mobile applications, focusing on complete backend architecture. Convert user stories into enterprise-level software solutions. Troubleshoot and fix issues proactively in backend frameworks. Set up Agile processes within the team for continuous monitoring and improvement. Work with both Monolithic and Microservice architecture, handling complex projects. Hire and mentor SDE2, SDE1, and JSDE team members. Lead and provide solid technical leadership for the backend team. Collaborate with other teams to ensure first-time right solutions. Possess hands-on knowledge of unit testing frameworks with code coverage and other software testing tools. Design large systems and work across multiple teams to deliver large projects. Participate in code reviews and deliver bug-free products. Contribute to building a knowledge base for continuous team development. Qualifications & Experience: BE/B-Tech degree with 5+ years of work experience, or ME/MS degree with 4+ years of work experience in Computer Science. Experience in server-side development; frontend development knowledge is an advantage. Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Strong teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude. Proven experience as a backend developer. Expertise in Python/Django frameworks. Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries, such as Angular. Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS. Knowledge of web application security and secure coding practices. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with software collaboration tools like GIT. Ability to work with distributed and diverse teams of researchers and developers. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. High level of innovation and motivation. Ability to train and support internal teams.
