Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, scientists, analysts, and other data professionals. Define competency development plans and ensure continuous skill enhancement within the team. Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and resource allocation to meet project demands. Collaborate with sales and presales teams to design and present data solutions to prospective clients. Build strong client relationships by understanding their business challenges and delivering tailored data-driven solutions. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects, maintaining alignment with client expectations. Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight for large-scale data platforms and analytical solutions. Advocate for adopting advanced tools, frameworks, and methodologies in data engineering and analytics. Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, security, and compliance. Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client engagements. Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors and data platform providers. Develop and enforce policies for data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Proactively manage risks associated with data management and analytics projects. Represent the organization as a thought leader through whitepapers, conference participation, and industry forums.
