Expose and consume RESTful APIs, focusing on high-quality API design essential in Open Banking. Utilize SNS+SQS and Kafka for event-driven communication. Work with PostgreSQL via Aurora in an AWS-heavy environment. Deploy services frequently (often multiple times daily) using CI/CD pipelines powered by GitHub Actions with JUnit and Pact Testing. Embrace GitOps with ArgoCD and collaborate with our Cloud team, which uses Docker, Terraform, and EKS/Kubernetes to manage the platform. Monitor and troubleshoot services using DataDog. Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate user needs, business opportunities, and regulatory requirements into well-engineered solutions. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are seeking candidates who: Have experience building server-side applications with a solid understanding of backend programming languages (knowledge of Java is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential). Are proficient in backend frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot) and have experience developing microservices that expose and consume RESTful APIs. Have experience engineering scalable, reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment with a solid understanding of CI/CD and Agile practices.
