Role Overview: DevOps Engineer We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who will work closely with our software development teams to automate, optimize, and streamline our infrastructure and deployment processes. You ll play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability across production and staging environments. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with developers to deploy and operate scalable, secure, and resilient systems. Automate and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure automation. Manage containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration. Monitor infrastructure health, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production issues quickly. Administer and optimize Linux/Unix servers and ensure system uptime and performance. Set up and manage web servers including Nginx and Apache, including load balancing and multi-site hosting. Implement robust backup and recovery strategies for high-availability environments. Work with AWS and Azure cloud services to manage infrastructure, networking, and application hosting. Maintain and optimize relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch. Ensure robust log management, monitoring, and alerting for applications and infrastructure. Maintain security best practices across environments (firewall configs, access management, SSL, etc.). Required Skills & Qualifications 4 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps practices. Strong experience in virtualization, containers, and container orchestration. Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and shell scripting. Experience deploying and managing applications built on Node.js, PHP/LAMP, WordPress, and Java (J2EE) stacks. Solid knowledge of web server configuration, DNS, SSL, and load balancing. Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and high-availability architecture. Strong grasp of networking concepts, firewalls, and security configurations. Hands-on experience with system and application monitoring tools. Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills. Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Good to Have Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Exposure to infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. Familiarity with SOA, microservices architecture, and serverless deployments. Job Description Design, provision and maintain AWS Infrastructure in accordance with compliance and security standards of Rxlogix. Exceptional experience and expertise on AWS Prepare, review, approve and maintain Architecture document for various customers. Interact with Customer Technical teams to gather information and provision infrastructure, in the capacity of Infra Lead Provide design analysis and cost estimation to support sales efforts Act as Subject Matter Expert in addressing and resolving AWS and IT infrastructure issues Extensive knowledge on Automation on Cloud Ensure support for compliance and customer Audits Perform cost effective design changes to reduce cloud spending. Train the team members on the AWS cloud best practices, microservice best practices, components interface best practices and interface methodology. Improve the delivery capabilities by validating and implementing frameworks using latest DevOps tools and technologies. Provide strategic and tactical solutions for technical issues. Active participation in executing AWS cloud related projects initiation to completion Technical Skills Excellent AWS hands on skills, such as Lambda, Cloud Formation or similar (Terraform, SaltStack), SSM, KMS, S3, RDS, EC2, Load Balancers, Route53, etc. Preferably AWS Architect Professional Excellent knowledge on AWS Security, such as AWS Security Hub, Guard duty, Inspector, SGs, NACLs, etc Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. Network Administration VPC, SG, NACLs, Subnets, VPN, Gateways, Open VPN, IPSec/Site to Site VPN, etc. For cloud environments, establishing new DevOps practices. Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, etc. Good understanding of CI/CD tools, practices, process & applications like Ansible, Salt, Git, Jenkins, etc. Excellent knowledge on Monitoring/SIEM tools in AWS environments Soft Skills: Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Team Leadership exp a must Should have good experience working with customers Preferences: B.Tech./BE from a reputed institute Product/Pharma Company Qualification : B.Tech./BE from a reputed institute
