Role Summary: The role involves supporting senior engineers in various aspects of civil/structural engineering projects. Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of engineering deliverables, conducting basic calculations and design checks for Hydraulic calculation, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure project success. This role requires a strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles, proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Key Responsibilities: Modeling and designing grading, Culvert, Road, etc. using Civil-3D. Civil site design for facilities and developments. Standard design of civil project work. Prepare plan and profile drawings. Hydraulic calculation for surface run-off, stormwater drains, storm pond and Underground pipe network. Capture client requirements and if needed, advise them regarding civil works, systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes. Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects and organization. A committed team player able to work on own initiative. Work with a team locally to deliver projects overseas to the US project management team. Tools: Sound knowledge of CIVIL-3D, Storm Cad and Civil Storm. Preferred Understanding of Microsoft Office Tools MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote. A plus but not required: Open Road/ Open Rail, HEC-RAS, Flow Master, Project-Wise. You will be involved in design and build projects, preparing outline and detailed civil engineering designs, technical and commercial specifications, drawings, and schedules, and working closely with our client and contractor partners. Candidate Specification : A degree in civil engineering Minimum 3-5 years experience in engineering design, in roles of increasing responsibility and project complexity. Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct transmission line-related activities such as route approval, detailed survey, check survey, and preparation of crossing proposals. Perform prop setting, benching with calculations, quantity estimation, and prepare revetment drawings for both plain and hilly terrains. Oversee foundation work ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards; prepare JMC (Joint Measurement Certificate) and manage all foundation billing processes. Supervise tower erection activities, conduct tower checking, and handle JMC preparation and billing-related work. Manage stringing work and associated documentation, including JMC preparation and foundation billing. Assist in project planning tasks such as DPR (Detailed Project Report) preparation, vendor assessment and onboarding, work order placement, and coordination with Client RHQ and Corporate teams (Engineering, Contracts, Finance). Perform cost analysis to ensure project efficiency. Create profiles manually and using AutoCAD software. Professional Skills: Expertise in contouring, marking, benching, quantity estimation, and all survey-related tasks in 132/33kV sub-stations (Hilly terrain). Proficiency in transmission line survey documentation, including crossing proposal preparation, route submission, check survey proposals, and forest proposal approvals. Skilled in route alignment using GPS and Google Earth; experienced in detailed and check surveys using Total Station and DGPS equipment. Capable of independently handling individual lines as a Section In-charge, including survey planning and execution.
