Electrical Lead / Engineer Location: Noida Experience: 5 20 Years Industry: Chemical Process | Oil & Gas | Refinery | Petrochemical | Fertilizer Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead / Engineer to join our project engineering team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the detailed engineering and design of electrical systems for large-scale industrial projects in sectors such as oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, and fertilizers. This role requires expertise in electrical design software, strong technical evaluation skills, and experience delivering engineering deliverables in line with project and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Electrical System Design Translate project and client requirements into detailed electrical system designs. Develop electrical load lists, single line diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, cable schedules, and material take-offs (MTOs) using SmartPlant Electrical or equivalent tools. Engineering Deliverables Execute detailed engineering for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and instrumentation power supply. Prepare engineering documentation in compliance with relevant codes and client specifications. Technical Evaluation Review vendor bids and perform technical bid evaluations (TBE). Provide technical support during procurement and coordinate with suppliers as required. Project Execution Support Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and procurement to ensure integrated project delivery. Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and vendor discussions. Trainee Tendering & Costing (Panels-CES) Group Company: Jakson Limited Location: Noida Division: Tendering & Costing Employee Type: Trainee Position Overview We are seeking a Trainee for the Tendering & Costing team to assist in the preparation of offers, evaluation of tenders, and coordination with various departments. The role involves generating new inquiries, preparing techno-commercial offers, and supporting cost optimization efforts to ensure competitive pricing. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing techno-commercial offers for panels. Prepare technical replies and revise offers as per customer requirements. Manage the booking process for Panel OSS and coordinate with the Operations department. Evaluate costing and specifications, performing value engineering to reduce costs where possible. Maintain MIS reports on cost-saving initiatives resulting from value engineering. Update the monthly MIS report sheet for OSS of panels booked. Coordinate with vendors for technical confirmation and identify economically viable substitute products. Ensure timely arrangement of technical documents as per tender requirements (e.g., datasheets, GA drawings, test certificates). Review final approved drawings in relation to BOM and cost offerings, collaborating with the Design and Operations departments for final confirmation. Maintain accuracy in cost estimates, keeping proper documentation and price backups. Knowledge and application of relevant BS/IS standards for Panels and Switchgear. Preferred Educational Qualifications Degree: Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Engineering Required Experience 3-8 years of experience in a similar role in tendering and costing for panels and switchgear. Required Competencies Knowledge of tender document preparation and evaluation. Understanding of product standards and specifications related to panels and switchgear. Awareness of market trends and competitor analysis. Ability to identify and track new product segments for cost optimization. Qualification : Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Engineering
