Provide in-depth technical responses to customer inquiries and troubleshoot customer designs. Offer necessary training and technical support to customers. Collaborate with hardware, software, RF systems, and testing teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. Provide hardware design support for customers developing wireless products. Perform block diagram, schematic, placement, and PCB design reviews on customer products. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems through hands-on support. Assist customers in implementing new technology using Qualcomm chipsets and support business teams on new projects. Develop an understanding of RF systems and cellular standards, including GSM, LTE, and 5G. Conduct tests for various technologies such as GSM, C2K, TDSCDMA, WCDMA, LTE, 5G SUB6, and 5G mmW (a strong plus). Desired Skills and Experience: Strong knowledge of cellular technologies like GSM, LTE, and 5G. Understanding of RF component characteristics and behavior. Proficient in problem-solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with PCB CAD tools such as Allegro and PADS for reviewing customer layouts. Job Title: Automation & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Bengaluru Role and Responsibilities Electrical Integration: Integrate CyRo s electrical systems (power supplies, sensors, actuators) with customer equipment and facilities, ensuring seamless compatibility and reliability. Design and implement custom electrical interfaces such as harnesses, connectors, and junction boxes to connect CyRo systems with customer-specific infrastructure (e.g., conveyors, AMRs, SCADA). Configure and validate CyRo s Industrial PC (IPC) and control systems to enable smooth communication with customer devices and networks. Sensor and Actuator Configuration: Configure, calibrate, and optimize CyRo s sensors (vision systems, force-torque sensors) and actuators (grippers, motion controllers, robotic arms) to fulfill application-specific needs. Troubleshoot sensor and actuator performance during integration to ensure alignment with customer workflows. Safety and Compliance: Design and implement safety-rated electrical systems including emergency stop circuits, light curtains, and safety interlocks, adhering to industry standards such as ISO 13849 and IEC 61508. Conduct risk assessments and incorporate protective components like fuses, circuit breakers, and relays to guarantee system safety and reliability. Deployment and Commissioning Support: Support deployment and commissioning of CyRo systems in customer environments, ensuring proper electrical integration and functionality. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues onsite, collaborating with customer teams and internal stakeholders. Assist in validation tests to confirm system performance and compliance in real-world scenarios. Documentation and Training: Prepare detailed documentation including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and integration guides for customers. Develop and conduct training sessions for customer teams on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CyRo electrical systems. Maintain accurate records of integration designs, test results, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement. Skills and Experience Strong proficiency in electrical system design covering wiring, connectors, and power distribution. Experience integrating robotic and automation machinery within industrial customer environments. Hands-on expertise with industrial sensors (vision, force-torque) and actuators (grippers, motion controllers, robots). Solid understanding and implementation experience of industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Modbus, TCP/IP. Familiarity with safety-rated electrical systems and relevant industry standards (ISO, IEC, OSHA). Experience configuring and integrating IPCs, PLCs, and similar control hardware. Proven troubleshooting and optimization skills in live industrial settings. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross-functional collaboration and client interactions. Demonstrated success in deploying and integrating automation systems in industrial environments. Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience with cobots and industrial robotic arms.
