Socket Communication: Knowledge of socket.io for handling real-time communication in games. Optimization Skills: Experience optimizing memory and space usage to support older hardware and low-resource devices. OOP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in Unity development. Clean Code Writing: Skill in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Version Control: Proficient knowledge of GIT or other code versioning tools. Performance & Quality Focus: Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Primary Responsibilities: Game Functionality: Implement game functionality according to the communicated design and functional specifications. Collaborative Work: Communicate with other team members to establish an effective pipeline and integrate media assets. Efficient Code Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to support gameplay features. Performance Optimization: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of games across all platforms. Code Maintenance: Help maintain code quality, organization, and clarity throughout the development lifecycle. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest game development technologies, trends, and best practices. Desired Skills: 3D, AR & VR Development: Experience working with 3D environments and knowledge of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) would be a plus. Experience Requirements: Proven experience in Unity game development, including scripting, textures, and animations. Hands-on experience with mobile game development for Android and iOS. Familiarity with WebGL for browser-based game deployment. Strong experience with socket communication using socket.io. Expertise in optimizing game performance and memory usage for various devices, especially older hardware. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and its application in Unity.
